Justin Bieber is a Canadian pop artist who was discovered in 2008 by American talent manager Scooter Braun when he came across Bieber's videos on YouTube. He was signed by Usher to Raymond Braun Media Group and a recording contract.

His debut extended play, My World, was released in November 2009, along with the single, "One Time", and was certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Other singles include "One Less Lonely Girl", "Favorite Girl", and "Love Me".
