Our Lady Peace is an alternative rock band that formed in Toronto, Canada in 1992. The group consists of lead vocalist Raine Maida, who has been with the band since its formation, along with Jeremy Taggart on percussion, Duncan Coutts on bass, and Steve Mazur as lead guitarist. The band has sold millions of albums worldwide, won four Juno Awards, and ten MuchMusic Video Awards.

OLP has released eight studio albums, one live album, and two compilation albums to date, with their 1997 album Clumsy often being considered their signature and most widely recognized work. They have enjoyed many hit singles, ranging from "Starseed" in 1994, to "Somewhere Out There" in 2002.

After nearly breaking up during the recording of their sixth studio album Healthy in Paranoid Times in 2005, the band took a prolonged hiatus before releasing their seventh album, Burn Burn, in July 2009. Their eighth album, Curve, was released in April 2012. Curve's first single, "Heavyweight", was released in advance of the album in December 2011.

The band has released 27 singles to date, ranging from "Out of Here" in 1992, to their most recent, "Heavyweight", in December 2011.
